About Crystalella

Crystalella Limited was founded in 2012 by Josie, who fell in love with the idea of adding crystals to shoes. Inspired by her grandfather, a jeweller, and her childhood admiration for sparkling diamonds and the iconic crystal slipper in *Cinderella*, Josie was driven to create her own sparkle. What began as a hobby—customising shoes for herself—quickly turned into a business after family and friends admired her work and requested their own. Josie, a perfectionist at heart, started selling her creations in her spare time while balancing two other jobs. The joy and satisfaction her customers expressed led her to leave her day jobs in 2017 and focus solely on customising items with crystals and diamantes. What started with shoes has since expanded to include a wide variety of custom crystalised items.

Crystalella’s products are all about adding a unique, sparkling touch to any item. Initially known for customising shoes, Crystalella now crystallises everything—from everyday accessories to high-fashion pieces. Some notable products include custom Nike Jordans for David Haye, which led to a project, for “The Black Mask company” Yes that’s David above wearing the mask we customised, bespoke sparkling bottles for St Moriz. Whether it’s a pair of shoes, a prosthetic leg, or something more unusual, we’re committed to making your items shine with one-of-a-kind crystal designs.
